Aqua-Bind® FD
Product Data Sheet

LEAD REMOVAL MEDIA

Aqua-Bind® FD & FDS media are unique metal oxide-based adsorption products engineered by Apyron scientists specifically for lead removal from water and wastewater. Highly activated metal oxide composites have been synthesized using Apyron's proprietary binder technology to create a material with enhanced pore, surface and chemical properties for superior lead removal. Multifunctional composite particles can include several different combinations of metal oxides to target customized adsorption needs for specific applications. The FD granular product is designed for cartridge or pressure vessel applications, whereas the FDS is formulated as a powder, uniquely sized and manufactured for point-of-use (POU) treatment devices where high efficiency lead reduction is required. Other suitable applications include industrial metal finishing, specialty water treatment and environmental remediation.
